Claire H
Claire is the founder of Big Heart Yoga & Wellness – a space rooted in inclusivity, devotion, and the transformational power of practice. With a background in marketing and over two decades in high-pressure roles, Claire first turned to yoga as a way to stay grounded while training for marathons. What began as a tool for balance became a life path.
Claire teaches both online and in-person across group classes, 1:1s, workshops, and events – including for clients such as SXSW. Her teaching honours the roots of yoga, drawing from the Ashtanga Vinyasa lineage and incorporating traditional elements such as breath (prāṇāyāma), bandha, drishti, and mantra.
Her classes are dynamic yet accessible, designed to meet you where you are. In sessions like Gentle Yoga and Wake Up with Claire, you’ll find inclusive options and compassionate guidance. In her more energising offerings – Yogasana and Feel Good Flow – expect strong, breath-led movement to build heat, increase strength, and leave you feeling spacious and uplifted. Hands-on assists and adjustments (always with consent) support you to explore alignment and embodiment in a safe, empowering way.
Claire’s restorative offerings invite deep rest and reconnection. These slower-paced practices blend interoception, breathwork, guided meditation, and yoga nidra to soothe the nervous system and support emotional and physical wellbeing.
Claire holds a 200HR certification with Embodied Beings, is completing her 300HR advanced training with Stewart Gilchrist at East London School of Yoga, and has studied Ayurveda and yoga philosophy extensively, including a 1,600HR Yoga Master programme with Yogamu. Her work is deeply influenced by her personal studies in India and the belief that yoga is for everyone.
Claire is also a L3 Ayurvedic Massage therapist and able to offer massage therapy in the comfort of your home. -

Claire S
Claire began practicing Hot & Ashtanga Yoga over twenty years ago primarily as an antidote to anxiety. The practice made such a positive difference to her life that she became passionate about sharing the physical and psychological benefits and has now been teaching for fifteen joyful years. During that time, Claire’s yoga adventure has taken me all over the world, constantly looking to learn more.
Claire’s approach to teaching is playful and supportive while challenging you to gradually expand your ‘comfort zone’ and build the confidence to try new things... hopefully for life, not just on the yoga mat!

Jenna
Jenna has been teaching yoga since 2019, specialising in Hatha and Vinyasa while offering an overall grounding and embodied practice that blends breath, movement, playfulness, energetic awareness, and meditation. Her classes are designed to guide students into deeper alignment with their Self and the sensuous, ever-changing world around them that can often feel chaotic and noisy. Her classes offer a welcoming and inclusive space to tune inward and realign with the ever present stillness and joy within.
Jenna brings elements of Tantra into her classes, a practice of love, full body awareness, sensuality and presence for a richer daily experience in life. Through practices centered on the chakras, sound healing, mantra, and mindful presence, Jenna invites students into a more connected, grounded, and awakened experience of mind, body, and spirit.
Jenna began her journey with Yoga back in 2017 as a means to find connection and purpose in her day to day life, facing a lack of tools and options to deal with her declining mental health. After spending years mindlessly pursuing pathways and careers that did not bring purpose or joy in her life she dove into the deep end and completed her 200 and 300 hour Yoga Teacher Trainings in Bali back to back in 2019. Ever since then Jenna has found a deep sense of meaning and alignment in her daily life, finally able to find joy in the smallest of places.
